Big Events

One of the most exciting ways to motivate students to sell is by using a Big Event Prize Program. Sellers get to attend a fun event at their school in exchange for reaching an easy to obtain sales goal. Schools will want to know how to prepare for their Big Event

In order to have a successful Big Event at your school you will need to plan for it ahead of time. Click on a Big Event below to access your preparation checklist:

Your goal is for your Big Event to be as memorable for your students as possible. To insure that your students get the most out of your event see our Maximize Your Big Event Experience document

We feel that our Big Event Prize Programs are better because they provide students with an opportunity to attend an exciting event as a reward for reaching an easily obtainable sales goal

Once you reach $20,000 in sales there is no cost for any of our Big Event Prize Programs. If you fall short of $20,000 we will ask you to share in the cost of your event; however there are other options that you can consider as well. Our How to Qualify for a Free Big Event Prize Program will provide a full explanation

  • The magic show is a 40 minute event and reptile adventures is a 1 hour event
  • Organizations are limited to 1 show only. The exception is if the organization exceeds $40,000 in sales and there is not enough seating for one show then a 2nd show must immediately follow the 1st show. Any organization that desires a 2nd show and does not meet the above exceptions can opt to pay extra

Best Times to bring in your Super Party or Super Splash Party:
Since we usually bring in the Super Party or Super Splash Party after the fundraiser is completed, some organizations see these events as a great way to celebrate the end of the semester or school year. Why not give your sellers something to look forward to that’s really fun and exciting just before they get out of school? Therefore, a lot of organizations use our parties for their ‘End of the Semester’ or ‘End of the School Year’ celebrations!

The best time to bring in a Magic Show is during another recognized event:

  • September: National Literacy Month, Citizenship Day, National Good Neighbor Day
  • October: National Safe School Week, National Character Counts Week, National Red Ribbon Week, Halloween
  • November: National Youth Appreciation Week, National Parental Involvement Day, National Family Week, National Recycling Week
  • February: Valentine’s Day
  • April: National Library Week, National Student Leadership Week
  • May: National Reading Is Fundamental Week

PLEASE NOTE: Time consideration must be given for completion of fundraiser first. Bill must also be paid in full prior to date of event

There may be times when lowering the item goal to get into a Big Event may be warranted. For example, a family may have more than one child attending a school and it may be difficult for them to reach the goal with multiple sellers. What follows is our recommended policy for this type of situation:

  • Handle on a case-by-case basis rather than announcing this policy to everyone
  • We recommend that you not cut the goal below half of the original goal
  • It will be your responsibility to track the families who request this

Yes, we require everyone to review and enforce the policies listed in our Inflatable Safety Rules and Requirements document
