If you are using a money wheel, money machine or any other cash-related game, some school districts may not allow you to issue cash or even equivalent-value gift cards. If that is your situation, what follows is what you may want to provide your sellers instead:
Money Wheel:
Set the least amount of money that a seller can win on the money wheel at $5 (if they land on the 1, 2 or 5) and the most at $25 (if they land on the joker or flag).
Money Machine:
Win cash-equivalent prizes based on amount of money grabbed from the money machine.
How much money can you make off of each seller?
To determine how much money you can bring in from each seller, multiply the number of items sold by $4.00. For example, if you set your item goal for the money wheel at 45 items, each seller who sells 45 items will bring in a little under $200.00 gross profit.
Please Note: A money machine is provided at all Super Party and Super Splash Party Events only if you have seller(s) who sell enough items to qualify for it. Big Event Fundraising does not provide the money wheel, money machine, money or prizes for any fundraiser that is not a Super Party or Super Splash Party event. In some cases a money wheel may not be provided at a Super Party or Super Splash Party. If that is the case, we will let you know in advance so you can make plans to provide your own money wheel or a suitable alternative like Jump for George.
Other Award Options (Non-Super Party & Super Splash Party Fundraisers):
Allow the top sellers to participate: You can allow the top 10 sellers to spin the money wheel and out of those, the top 3 get to also do the money machine, for example.
Keep in mind; you can incorporate either the money wheel or money machine or both into your program and structure how you want your sellers to earn these fun privileges any way that you want. Make sure that your qualifiers get to do these fun incentives in front of everyone so that others will see the participants and want to try to be up there next time!
