When to Lower Your Big Event Fundraising Goal

There may be a time when you feel that lowering the fundraising goal for a Big Event Incentive program, such as a Big Event Magic Show, is warranted. For example, when a family has more than one child that attends the school and it may be difficult for them to reach the school fundraising goal with multiple sellers. What follows is our recommended policy for this type of situation:

• 2 or more children families may sell less than the pre-set item goal minimum; however we recommend that you do not cut the goal below half of the original goal, if possible.
• For tracking purposes it is recommended that all family members have the same last name
• All students under these circumstances would need a white bracelet (A few extras are automatically provided)
• We recommend that rather than announcing this policy to everyone at the beginning of your sale, that you instead handle it on an individual case-by-case basis as the situation arises
• It will be your responsibility to track the families who request this
